GYN-Oncology Physician

Gyn-Oncology physician job in Connecticut : A non-profit, independent health system in southwest Connecticut with over 4,100 employees is adding a gynecologic oncologist to serve as Director of Gynecologic Oncology within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology .
The ideal candidate will join a strong, well-established program and help lead its continued expansion.
~ The health system maintains a collaboration with Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center, offering access to virtual second opinions, clinical trials, and advanced, evidence-based cancer care.
~90% clinical and 10% administrative
~ Teaching and mentorship of OB/GYN residents and medical students
~ Multidisciplinary collaboration with medical, surgical, and radiation oncology
~ access to three robotic platforms
~ Call is 1:4 weeks, shared with urogynecology team
~ Chemotherapy administered by onsite medical oncologists
~ EPIC EMR
~ A second gynecologic oncologist is planned with the opening of the new cancer center in 2028.
