A. Job Summary: Administration of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnosis and/or therapy, and use of nuclear medicine equipment for detection and diagnosis of disease, injury and abnormality in a manner so as to achieve a high level of patient satisfaction.
Essential Job Qualifications
Experience: Three years of experience preferred. Training/Certification: Licensure: N.Y. S. Department of Health
4. Other: Registry with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or certification with Nuclear Medicine Certification Board.

1. Environmental Demands: Exposure to infection and disease. Handling of radioactive materials. Periodically hectic environment. Must be able to handle several tasks simultaneously.
2. Essential Physical and Cognitive Demands, Manual Dexterity: Good hand / eye coordination. On feet most of day. Some heavy lifting. High level of customer sensitivity.

1. Oversees modality specific Quality Assurance Program.
2. Performs weekly inventory of supplies; submits list of items to be ordered.
3. Submits preliminary time schedule to Department Manager.
4. Communicates issues to Department Manager for resolution.
5. Assists in formulation and implementation of modality specific policies, procedures and protocols.
6. Performs responsibilities of Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
