Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (Direct).

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Provides respiratory care services across all units in the facility, including the Emergency Department and ICU. Treats all patient populations, including adults, children, and infants. Responsibilities include oxygen therapy administration; assessment of respiratory distress requiring immediate therapeutic intervention; recognition of cardiopulmonary arrest and initiation of resuscitation and life-support measures; complex ventilatory management; arterial blood sample analysis with assessment of abnormalities and therapeutic intervention recommendations; and patient/family education on respiratory procedures and disease processes.

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
