$66.000 - $75.750 - $85.490
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
The Clinical Manager holds twenty-four hour accountability for the delivery of quality nursing care and operational management of assigned unit. The job encompasses integration, facilitation, and coordination of the leadership, management, operational, quality improvement coordination, and clinical activities of patient care services. This individual serves as a professional role model, leader, mentor, and clinical resource for nurses and other members of the health care team. Individual is responsible for supervising all department employees. Understands and adheres to the California Nurse Practice Act, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for nurses, the ANA Bill of Rights for Registered Nurses, and the ANA Scope and Standard for Nurse Administrators. Supports the mission and values of the Medical Center. Possess knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient population in the department under their management.
Required Qualifications
- Other Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 3 Years clinical experience in area of leadership.
- 2 Years management experience in clinical area.
- California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
- ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree MSN/MBA/MHA or relevant to area of leadership.
Other Qualification Requirements
- RNC in leadership/administration/clinical specialty. - PREFERRED

Serves as a professional role model, leader, mentor, and clinical resource for nurses and other members of the health care team.
Maintains working knowledge of local health care issues, community standards as well as providers. Participates in strategic business planning and action implementation.
Conducts performance assessments and evaluations of staff in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Utilizes appropriate TCMC staff disciplinary processes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
