Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2270 per week.

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Pediatric experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: For night shift positions, NICU experience preferred.

Special Requests: An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Unit Details: Uses V60 BiPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1, and i-STAT. Provides emergency services for rapid response and Code Blue, including basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, and patient assessment using Assess and Treat protocols; cares for patients of all ages.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday rotation. Travelers can be put on call for low census hours. The unit is closed on holidays.

Floating Requirements: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including ED and general care areas, and may also be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations if needed, with advance notice.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
