About the Role

Compensation
Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)
- Lead and develop maintenance team members to support operational performance and employee growth.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to meet production and operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to maximize reliability and uptime.
- Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime.
- Promote compliance with health and safety, GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve plant performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and maintenance planning.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- Valid trade licence(s).
- 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing or high-speed production environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Demonstrated leadership experience coaching and developing maintenance employees.
- Working knowledge of CMMS, preventive maintenance programs, GMPs, food safety, quality, and health and safety requirements.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Certificate of Qualification, preferably including both a 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) licence and a 442A Industrial Electrician licence.
- Experience leading maintenance employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience coordinating shift priorities and supporting maintenance planning activities.
- Experience working with bakery, packaging, conveyor, automated, or similar production equipment.
- Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
