Office Clerk – Romulus

Universal Logistics is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Office Clerk to support daily crossdock operations.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Paid Time Off: Available to eligible employees

Responsibilities

· Perform data entry and process shipping/receiving paperwork

· Check drivers in/out and verify shipment and trailer information

· Monitor pickups and deliveries and research discrepancies

· Maintain accurate records, reports, and Excel spreadsheets

· Communicate with carriers, drivers, and management

Qualifications

· Clerical, transportation, or logistics experience preferred

· Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Yard Management System (YMS) is a plus

· Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

· Dependable with strong communication and attention to detail

· Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
