Full job description
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and semiconductor industry, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting the efficient movement and management of materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, ensuring the success of the team and organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Austin, Texas 78754
Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.04
Shift: Day shift and Night shift
What's the Job?
- Supplying materials to production lines and workstations
- Operating equipment such as pallet jacks and label makers
- Using computer software like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to enter and manage data
- Ensuring accurate labeling and inventory management
- Walking 3-5 miles daily and lifting between 15-40 lbs as needed
What's Needed?
- Manufacturing or warehouse work experience preferred
- Ability to walk 2+ miles daily and lift up to 40 lbs
- Proficiency with basic computer skills and equipment operation
- Attention to detail for data entry and inventory accuracy
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team
