Full job description
The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a board certified/eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for leadership in our department and our emergency rooms on both campuses of the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN.
About the Appointment:
- Rank: Associate Professor
- Track: Clinician Track
- Role: Clinician (0.20 cFTE) - position primarily requires clinical time in the Emergency Departments at the University of Minnesota Medical Center – East and West Bank Campuses. Leadership (0.8 FTE) - serving as VPMA for UMMC.
- Flexibility of schedule (block shifts, days/week, etc.)
Pay and Benefits
This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market-competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range for the clinical effort of this position is $350,000 - $370,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications. The additional salary from the University is dependent upon the academic effort of the person hired. Salary is prorated based on FTE.
