Full job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Associate

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $16.50 to $17.50 an hour depending on shift

Shift:
1st -8 am to 4 pm
2nd - 4 pm to 12 am
3rd - 10 pm - 8 am (Sunday night start)
*OT is scheduled prior to start time and can be heavy, including Saturdays

What's the Job?

  • Open positions are Assembly, Material Handling, Robotic Welding
  • Assembler:
    • Assembly products according to work orders and blueprints at individual workstations
    • Hand and power tool operation, tape measure reading
  • Material Handler:
    • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed
    • Receive, store, and distribute materials to production departments
    • Maintain inventory accuracy using ERP systems and perform cycle counts
  • Welding Robot Operator:
    • Set up and operate robotic welding equipment
    • Read blueprints and perform quality inspections using measuring tools

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic math skills required
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools preferred
