Position Overview

The Gulf Side Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Santa Clara, California. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in executing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions.
  • Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and stretches, ensuring correct form and technique to maximize effectiveness and safety.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patients' progress to the supervising physical therapist, facilitating timely adjustments to their rehabilitation plans.
  • Provide education to patients and their families about at-home care, including exercise routines, lifestyle modifications, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain therapy equipment by setting it up for each session, ensuring it is clean, properly functioning, and safe for patient use.
  • Adhere to all compliance regulations including state and federal requirements, documentation standards, and HIPAA guidelines, maintaining a high standard of patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and successful completion of a recognized Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits
