Travel Job Summary:

Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) position located in Tampa, Florida. This outpatient role involves evaluating assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans to facilitate functional recovery and safe return to community activities. The therapist will serve as an educator for patients, families, and colleagues, while adhering to professional and organizational standards. The position emphasizes safety, quality care, and professional development.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an Accredited School; Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation; active license in the state of Florida; 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations; ability to develop and modify treatment plans based on clinical reasoning; excellent documentation skills, including goal writing and medical record documentation; and active participation in professional development activities.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in hand therapy is required; familiarity with outpatient therapy settings is highly desirable.

Additional Information: The therapist is responsible for completing medical record documentation in a timely and compliant manner, ensuring care is provided based on physician orders and insurance approvals. Participates in student supervision and professional growth initiatives. Maintains licensure in good standing and adheres to all state practice acts and organizational policies. Demonstrates commitment to performance improvement initiatives and safety practices.
