CNC Programmer, Aerospace Milling

Location: Riverton, CT
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000 to $130,000 per year

Write the CNC programs behind precision aerospace components at a manufacturer investing in advanced technology and its people.

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience
  • Strong experience programming CNC milling machines
  • Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming tools
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork

What You'll Do

  • Create and optimize CNC milling programs for precision aerospace parts
  • Program custom components and production tooling
  • Develop machining methods and tooling strategies
  • Set up and support CNC milling machines during production
  • Test, troubleshoot, and validate programs on the machine
  • Update programs for engineering changes and revisions
  • Reduce cycle times and improve quality with engineering and production teams
  • Maintain program documentation and revision control

Nice-to-Haves

  • CATIA experience
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Experience with complex precision-machined components
  • Epicor ERP experience
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge
  • Associate's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology
