Industrial Sandblaster (Training on 1st Shift Required)

Location: Tyler, TX
Pay: $18.25/hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift
Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM
• Friday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday (when required): 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Training Schedule: Must be able to train on 1st Shift (5:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Industrial Sandblasters Needed

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Industrial Sandblasters in Tyler, TX. This position is responsible for preparing metal surfaces for painting and coating by removing dirt, paint, grease, rust, and other contaminants.

No previous sandblasting experience is required. We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, paint, grease, rust, and other built-up materials from surfaces to prepare items for painting and coating
• Set up and operate blast booths and sandblasting equipment
• Load and unload blast cabinets safely and efficiently
• Assist with painting and coating operations as needed
• Apply and remove non-skid materials when required
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Experience not required; training available
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or similar systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to follow instructions and directions from supervisors

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, twist, turn, reach, and grasp frequently throughout the shift
• Must be able to safely operate machinery and equipment
• Ability to work in an industrial environment while following all safety requirements
