Local Truck Driver – Box Truck / Class A CDL Fill-In Driver – Columbus, OH
$30.00/hour • 40 Hours • Home Daily • Monday-Friday Schedule • Weekly Pay

Are you a Class A driver looking for a steady local driving job with guaranteed hours and great benefits? Possibly semi-retired or looking to come off the road for local / home daily work? ProDrivers is hiring a Local Truck Driver for a full-time, permanent position in Columbus, OH.

In this role, you'll primarily operate a 26' box truck delivering John Deere parts to dealerships throughout the area. When needed, you'll step in as a Class A CDL driver to cover vacations, time off, and other business needs. This is a great opportunity for a Local Truck Driver who wants consistent local work while keeping their CDL skills sharp.

Job Details
  • $25.00 per hour
  • 40 hours every week
  • Home daily
  • Tuesday-Saturday schedule
  • Weekly pay
  • Paid holidays and paid time off

  • No residential deliveries
Schedule
Monday-Friday - Dynamic start times are typically between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. This will be communicated daily by a driver coming from Canada with John Deere products.

What You'll Do
  • Operate a new Freightliner day cab with a 53' trailer
  • Leave Columbus Terminal, Meet Canadian driver in Richfield OH, drop and hook, return to Columbus Terminal.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Unload, and secure freight safely (as needed)
  • Maintain delivery paperwork and records
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
What We're Looking For
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Current DOT Medical Certificate
  • Clean MVR
  • Consistent work history
  • At least 12 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience
  • Ability to safely operate a Freightliner Day Cab with a 53' trailer
  • Reliable, safety-focused, DEPENDABLE, professional
  • Previous experience as a Local Truck Driver preferred
