This role is responsible for defining and executing the VAS strategy to support customer success, readiness, and business growth, while driving operational excellence and financial performance. VAS is delivered in hands-on, production-based environments on HP digital presses, requiring a leader who can operate effectively at the intersection of service, sales, and customer engagement.

Leading a large and diverse organization of approximately 15 production specialists and supporting staff,  this role will play a critical part in shaping the future of customers growth—ensuring alignment with business priorities, technological advancements, and evolving customer needs.

This is a business-critical leadership role with direct impact on customer success outcomes and revenue performance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the VAS  strategy for the NA, including the development of future-ready VAS methodologies, tools, and learning experiences aligned to customer and business needs.

P&L Ownership
Own the full VAS P&L, with accountability for revenue growth, gross margin improvement, cost management, and overall financial performance. Manage a mixed VAS revenue model, including entitlement-based training, ramp up and onsite delivery.

VAS Portfolio & Content
Oversee the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of VAS materials, programs, and certifications across all HP GSB platforms, ensuring relevance to real-world production environments and customer workflows.

Organization Leadership
Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing team of ~15 employees, including individual contributors. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement, while supporting onboarding, cross-training, and capability development.

Customer-Facing VAS Operations
Lead a highly visible, customer-facing organization that delivers hands-on technical training experiences. Ensure consistent, high-quality customer experience that reinforces HP value and supports long-term customer success.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Service leadership to strengthen internal capability building.
Work with Sales teams and directly with customers to drive training adoption, value realization, and revenue opportunities.

Customer Engagement
Engage directly with customers and key stakeholders to ensure VAS programs deliver measurable business outcomes and support customer success.

Operational Excellence
Establish KPIs, governance, and performance tracking to continuously improve training effectiveness, resource utilization, and overall business impact. Operate effectively within a dynamic environment balancing trainer capacity, equipment availability, and customer demand.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven leadership experience managing large, complex organizations (15+ employees)

  • Strong business acumen with experience owning or influencing P&L performance

  • Experience in technical training, field enablement, or customer growth within industrial, capital equipment, or service environments

  • Deep understanding of customer-facing organizations, ideally within Service or industrial/technical domains

  • Ability to define strategy and translate it into execution with measurable results
