Were seeking a passionate and driven Internal Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care - East Paris team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan . This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
• Office hours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Location: 2144 E. Paris Ave SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546
• Specialty: Internal Medicine, out-patient
• Hospital Info: Trinity Health Grand Rapids
• Clinical Team Size: Currently have 6 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners
• Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
• Call Requirements: 3 days a month - phone calls only, supported by 24/7 nurse triage.
• Additional details:
  • Option between 4- and 5-day work week
  • Physician will have 1 to 1 support with a Medical Assistant

Requirements

• Experience preferred, open to new graduates
• Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
