Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: High acuity, fast-paced telemetry unit caring for acutely ill patients admitted from the ED, ICU, and PCU, with a focus on cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. Holidays as required per unit needs. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
