As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to apply your active DoD Secret Clearance while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture with teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $27.31 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activity, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
