Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Specialist II, Application Support to join our Information Technology team. This role is responsible for providing advanced application support for our core ERP platform and associated third-party business systems. The successful candidate will serve as a key resource for troubleshooting complex system issues, driving problem resolution, supporting system integrations, and ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of business-critical applications across the organization.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional customer service skills, and the technical expertise needed to identify root causes, recommend solutions, and collaborate effectively with both business users and technical teams.

 

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: 

 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for business applications including, but not limited to, Vista Viewpoint, pVault, and related systems.
  • Investigate, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application, system, and user issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage assigned help desk tickets, prioritize support requests, and ensure adherence to established service levels and response times.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend long-term corrective and preventive solutions.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, security permissions, role assignments, and user terminations in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to resolve complex system issues and improve application performance.
  • Support application implementations, system upgrades, integrations, data conversions, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and update user guides, process documentation, knowledge base articles, and support procedures.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audit requests by providing system access reports, documentation, and supporting evidence.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve system reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process optimization opportunities and recommending technology solutions.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of five years of experience supporting enterprise business applications in an IT environment.
  • Strong experience supporting ERP systems, including Vista Viewpoint, pVault, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Experience managing and supporting applications within a Citrix environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to resolve complex business and technical problems.
  • Experience working with SQL queries for troubleshooting, reporting, and data validation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and support requests in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering high-quality user support.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
