Position Overview

The Senior Flex Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Santa Ana, California. Work Environment

The scheduled hours for this full-time role are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans, which may include exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities.
  • Monitor patients' progress and responses to therapy, providing updates and feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and treatment sessions in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
  • Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation activities, encouraging and motivating them to engage actively in their recovery journey.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area, ensuring that all therapeutic equipment is properly set up and functioning.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff, to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with include seniors experiencing mobility issues, individuals recovering from surgery or injury, and those with chronic pain conditions. Your contributions as a PTA will be integral in restoring their function and enhancing their quality of life. You will provide hands-on therapy and emotional support to motivate patients, fostering a positive healing atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • An active California PTA license is required to ensure compliance with state regulations and standards.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is a prerequisite for application.

Compensation and Benefits
