About the Opportunity
Our independent, physician-led emergency medicine group is actively recruiting dedicated physicians to staff four Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs) affiliated with Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas. Be part of a collaborative team focused on high-quality emergency care and long-term community partnerships. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, competitive compensation, paid malpractice coverage, and a negotiable sign-on bonus.
If you are Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) — or a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with strong emergency medicine experience — we encourage you to apply.
Northwest Emergency at Eastern Highlights
* 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling
* New FSED opened in May 2025!
* Flexible 12- or 24-hour shift options
* Comprehensive emergency care with imaging and lab services
* Independent group where physicians have a voice in decision-making

* Independent Contractor (1099) model with Competitive compensation package

Qualifications
