Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2210 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - MidAmerica Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Basic dysrhythmia required.

Unit Details: - Primarily cares for renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general med-surg patients. - Uses EKG, bladder scanner, sit-to-stand, Hoyer lift, hover mat, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis. - Techs staff the unit, with support from an unencumbered charge nurse and clinical educator.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 48 per week preferred. - At least every 3rd weekend.

Floating Requirements: - Can float to like units including Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, Obs, and Rehab.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
