ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and scaling, and we are seeking an ERP Administrative Technician in an onsite position in Spartanburg, South Carolina. As an ERP Administrative Technician, you will work directly with Production and Industrial Engineering to maintain the manufacturing execution system (MES) portion of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related shop-floor tools. This position is focused on the production-facing portion of the ERP rather than enterprise-wide ERP administration. You will collect, validate, and maintain the workstation data needed to manage the production schedule, support shop-floor management, measure downtime and station-specific KPIs, and accurately close Assembly Orders (AOs) and Production Orders (POs).

The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays from 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM. This role reports to the Plant Manager and receives functional guidance and technical direction from the Industrial Engineer.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work daily on the production floor to collect, verify, and maintain manufacturing execution system (MES) data from workstations, operators, supervisors, production records, and approved shop-floor data collection tools.
  • Maintain the production data used to manage the production schedule, including order status, station assignment, work-in-process location, planned versus actual progress, quantities completed, constraints, and completion status.
  • Support Shop Floor Management data collection by preparing accurate, current station-level information for daily production meetings, hour-by-hour tracking, plan-versus-actual review, work-in-process status, and follow-up actions.
  • Partner with the Industrial Engineering Technician to collect and validate downtime, cycle time, output, utilization, labor, queue, and other station-specific KPI data using approved definitions and collection methods.
  • Support the timely and accurate closing of Assembly Orders (AOs) and Production Orders (POs) by confirming required labor, output, component consumption, scrap, rework, serial or lot information, and completion transactions have been recorded and exceptions are resolved.
  • Review open AOs, POs, workstation records, and production schedule data throughout each shift to identify missing, late, duplicate, or incorrect entries and coordinate corrections before daily reporting or order closure.
  • Enter approved production information from station logs, paper forms, barcode scanners, tablets, and other source records into Business Central or related MES tools when direct operator entry is unavailable or requires correction.
  • Reconcile MES transactions against physical work-in-process, completed units, material movement, station status, and supervisor records to confirm the system reflects actual factory activity.
  • Provide first-line shop-floor support for production transaction questions, order-status issues, barcode or scanner problems, workstation data-entry errors, and incorrect postings; escalate system, hardware, access, or integration issues to the appropriate support team.
  • Train and coach operators, team leads, and supervisors on approved MES reporting steps, production-data expectations, and the importance of accurate and timely workstation transactions.
  • Maintain station-level collection tools and controls, including approved work-center and station IDs, transaction guides, production forms, barcode or QR labels, terminals, scanners, and Shop Floor Management tracking aids.
  • Prepare daily and weekly data-completeness summaries and provide validated source data for production schedule adherence, throughput, downtime, cycle time, labor efficiency, utilization, work-in-process, and other factory metrics.
  • Support new product, line, and workstation launches by testing AOs, POs, station codes, collection methods, transaction flows, and reporting outputs. Follow approved data-governance and change-control requirements and do not independently change engineering requirements, BOMs, routings, standard times, production priorities, or enterprise-wide ERP configuration
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certificate in manufacturing, operations, business systems, information systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in manufacturing, production control, production administration, shop-floor data collection, ERP or MES transactions, inventory control, or a related operational role.
  • Experience working directly in a manufacturing environment and a practical understanding of production schedules, workstations, work-in-process, Assembly Orders, Production Orders, and daily shop-floor activity.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is strongly preferred; experience with another manufacturing ERP, MES, or shop-floor data collection system will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of production-order status, labor reporting, production output, component consumption, scrap, rework, downtime, station movement, and manufacturing order closure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, formulas, lookups, data comparison, and basic data validation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to compare system records with physical production activity, identify discrepancies, and follow corrections through completion.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to support operators and supervisors in a respectful, clear, and production-focused manner.
  • Ability to spend a significant portion of the workday walking and standing on the production floor, using computers, tablets, barcode scanners, and other station-level data collection equipment.
  • Preferred: experience with barcode systems, Power BI or reporting tools, Shop Floor Management, lean manufacturing, standardized work, daily production scheduling, ISO 9001, or multi-site manufacturing operations.
