HR Generalist Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
- 1+ years of human resources experience
- Bilingual in Korean and English
- Basic knowledge of COBRA, diversity/EEO, FMLA, and employment regulations preferred
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work comfortably under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
HR Generalist Preferred Background & Skills
- Intellectual curiosity to stay informed on employment laws and HR best practices
HR Generalist Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters and provide comprehensive support across HR disciplines
- Participate in developing and refining organizational guidelines and procedures
- Assist with recruiting by identifying and engaging candidates
- Investigate employee complaints and help resolve workplace issues
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Partner with Legal and Payroll teams to maintain alignment and respond to compliance inquiries
- Keep up to date with HR trends and best practices
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including scheduling orientation, preparing materials, and supporting benefits enrollment
