Full job description

Seeking a Regulatory Associate to join a sophisticated health care practice. This is an excellent opportunity to handle high-impact regulatory disputes and litigation while developing deep expertise in health care law.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex health care regulatory litigation and administrative disputes
  • Challenge agency actions, including matters arising under the Administrative Procedure Act
  • Manage Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement disputes and administrative appeals
  • Assist with government audits and investigations
  • Support False Claims Act defense and other fraud and abuse matters
  • Draft substantive briefs, motions, appeals, and other legal filings
  • Participate in administrative, trial, and appellate proceedings
  • Advise hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, and other health care providers
  • Work on significant regulatory and reimbursement matters with potential nationwide impact

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • 2–4 years of relevant legal experience
  • Strong litigation, research, analytical, and legal writing skills
  • Excellent academic credentials and meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated interest in health care law, regulation, and policy
  • Interest in sophisticated administrative and appellate litigation
  • Experience with or interest in Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, APA litigation, government investigations, False Claims Act defense, or health care regulatory disputes
  • Appropriate bar admission for the applicable office/location

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $220,000–$300,000, based on experience and qualifications
