Legal Assistant / Paralegal Benefits & Compensation

Legal Assistant / Paralegal Requirements & Qualifications
- Legal Assistant, Litigation Assistant, or Paralegal experience preferred
- Litigation law firm experience preferred
- Experience with legal documents and court filings
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Able to manage several tasks and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional when handling private client information
- Able to work on your own and solve problems
- Local to Bedford, Manchester, or Southern New Hampshire
Legal Assistant / Paralegal Preferred Skills
- Civil or business litigation experience
- State and federal court filing experience
- Discovery and document production experience
- Trial or hearing preparation experience
- Strong proofreading and document skills
- Proactive, dependable, and willing to help wherever needed
Legal Assistant / Paralegal Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with active cases
- Prepare and organize legal documents
- Assist with state and federal court filings
- Maintain case files and records
- Organize discovery and document productions
- Track deadlines and court dates
- Prepare exhibits, case materials, and binders
- Help prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials
- Schedule meetings and case activities
- Help with general office and administrative needs
