Full job description

Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department in a Boiler Operator position as well as performing overall facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong experience with boilers, plumbing, and mechanics.

Job Title: Facilities Technician 2

Location: El Paso, TX

Pay Range: Up to $30/hour

Shift: Mon-Fri (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on boilers, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot facility systems including power, HVAC, and controls.
  • Maintain general facility upkeep, including carpentry, plumbing, and vendor management.
  • Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts as needed to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Assist with moving office furniture, machinery, and equipment as required.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with a focus on boilers and facility systems.
  • Strong mechanical background with knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.
  • Certification in boilers or chillers is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
