Position Overview
Muscleworks Rehab & Physical Therapy Center is seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to work full-time at our state-of-the-art facility located in Oneida, New York. The successful candidate will work closely with our licensed physical therapists to implement effective treatment plans and support patients in their recovery journeys. Work Environment
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work onsite within a hospital setting, providing a collaborative atmosphere with direct access to various specialists and resources. Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in executing treatment plans that are tailored to individual patient needs, making real-time adjustments as necessary.
- Administer hands-on therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy and exercise regimens, ensuring optimal patient comfort and effectiveness.
- Educate patients on various physical exercises and home activity modifications designed to accelerate recovery and enhance mobility.
- Monitor patient progress meticulously during therapy sessions, maintaining precise documentation of outcomes and challenges for review.
- Collaborate proactively with other members of the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care strategies that address all aspects of patient health.
- Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy as indicated by patient conditions to facilitate pain management and recovery.
- Contribute to the occupational health initiatives within the facility, promoting wellness and injury prevention among staff and patients alike.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
- Current and active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

- Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure effective patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
