Full job description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gynecological and women s health services.
- Conduct patient evaluations including medical history, physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Perform both OB services at the hospital and GYN for surgery and office
- Perform routine gynecologic procedures and screenings including:
- Pap smears
- IUD insertions/removals
- Nexplanon procedures
- Cervical exams
- Preventive screenings
- Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions and disorders.
- Order, interpret, and explain laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans as appropriate.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient counseling on preventive health, reproductive health, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Serve in rotational on-call coverage as required.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain).
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Experience working in community health or underserved populations preferred.
- Bilingual skills in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish.

- Knowledge of culturally sensitive patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Experience with outpatient women s health services.
- Familiarity with FQHC/community health settings.
