Field Service Technician – Willingness to travel 75-90%
Our client is looking for hardworking, a motivated Field Service Technician (Press Brake/Shears) to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of heavy-duty industrial equipment. They should specialize in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems that are core to manufacturing. Areas supported: MA, ME, Upper NY, NJ, & CT!

What will you be doing?
- Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) and scheduled repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, such as press brake, shears, and automated machinery.
- Diagnose malfunctions and operating errors, utilizing diagnostic equipment and schematics to get machinery running safely and efficiently.
- Inspect individual parts and assemblies using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, and gauges).
- Assist with the installation, start-up, and fine-tuning of new equipment.
- Record daily activities using maintenance software and digital reporting tools.
- Strictly adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines.

- High School Diploma or GED is required. Vocational training, an associate's degree in a technical field, or military service are highly preferred.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience; REQUIRED hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
