Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Certified Cardiac Cath Lab Technician plays multiple roles on the Cardiac Cath Lab team as the Cardiovascular technician during Cardiac Catheterization procedures
  • Demonstrates technical proficiency in all Cardiac Cath Lab procedures and equipment; applies anatomical and physiological knowledge to proficiently assist the Cardiologist or Electrophysiologist with providing cardiac patient care
  • Maintains good communication with the Cath Lab team to ensure proper equipment set up, accurate monitoring, and quality data collection

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited (by CHEA, USDOE, or CMA) program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology. Or a graduate of a NON-programmatically accredited program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology which has a minimum of one year of specialty training and includes a minimum of 800 clinical hours
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) from CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Current AHA BLS
  • EP/Cath Lab/IR procedural flow, sterile technique, and emergency response (defib/external pacing/code management)
  • 2+ years recent Cath lab technician experience in cardiac Cath lab, interventional cardiology, EP, hybrid OR, or interventional radiology
  • Proven excellent interdisciplinary communication and ability to collaborate effectively with all team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Surgery Center (ASC) experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $36.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
