State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including assisting with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor patients' vital signs, report changes to nursing staff, and document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Assist with bedside care, including feeding, toileting, and transferring patients
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care transitions
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:
Must pass the Ohio State Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) examination and maintain STNA certification
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire
