Job Title:

LVN | On-Call

Division/Program:

Capital Star Crisis Residential Program

Starting Compensation:

33.00 - 47.00 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

Sacramento: Crisis Residential Program (In-person position)

Working Hours/Shift:

On Call, 12 hours shift (8 am to 8:30 pm)

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

Education: 

  • Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required. 

  • Associate's degree, preferred. 

Experience 

  • One (1) year service experience working as a nurse in a behavioral health field 

  • One (1) year medication administration experience required. 

License or Certification:

  • Valid California LVN or LPT license. 

  • Current CPR certification.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

The LVN / LPT provides direct client care including medications and basic medical intervention and education, following standard nursing practices.   

Division/Program Overview:

  • Programs: Voluntary Residential Program for Transition-Age Youth (TAY) 

  • Population Served: At-risk Transition-Age Youth (TAY) needing a higher level of care short of psychiatric hospitalization | Capacity: Up to 15 youth 

  • Facility & Setting: 24/7 Voluntary Residential Facility 

  • Clinical Services: Individual therapy, group rehabilitation, medication management, and clinical case management 

  • Length of Stay: Extended residential treatment timeline (varies based on individual stabilization, recovery, and housing transition goals) 

  • Skills & Transition: 

    • Educational guidance, vocational training/support, and housing placement/location assistance 

    • Recovery-oriented care, peer support, life skills development, and community connection building
