Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Carlisle, PA at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting care, supervising discipline-specific services, and participating in student education and professional development. The role requires adherence to professional codes of conduct, safety policies, and clinic guidelines.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Pennsylvania state physical therapist license required to start the assignment. Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required (client-specific requirement). BLS certification may be required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Maintain professional licensure in good standing and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with functional treatment programs focused on return to community activities. Experience completing documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry. Prior experience participating in student education or precepting.

Assignment Details Schedule: MWTh 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (10-hour shifts), T/F 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM with some flexibility. Duration: 13-week assignment with option to extend. Location: Outpatient clinic in Carlisle, PA. Candidate may be required to follow clinic float policies as needed.
