About the Position

We are seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves local delivery and shuttles to warehouses within a 100-mile radius of Nashville. The role is customer-oriented with 95% no-touch freight, although drivers may be asked to assist with unloading if requested by the customer.


Pay & Schedule Details

  • Pay Rate: $26 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 6 AM
  • Shifts: 6-8 hours in the winter season; 8-10 hours in the summer months
  • Weekly Hours: 40-50 hours


Job Details

  • Route Type: Local delivery
  • Freight: General freight, primarily dry van with some flatbed
  • Equipment: Manual transmission vehicles
  • Handling: Mostly drop and hook, with minimal touch freight


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely deliver palletized freight, completing deliveries and return trips per shift.
  • Perform required handling tasks
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
  • Meet the physical demands of the role


Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience; should have some flatbed experience within the past 5 years
  • Able to drive a manual transmission
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
  • Experience with dry van and flatbed in the last 5 years
  • Consistent work history preferred
