Shift: 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• AS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <40 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Six (6)-12 months during a CVT accredited program or two (2) years in another cardiac vascular laboratory. - Usage of Impella and balloon pump required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Permanent pacemaker placement experience preferred. - Mac-Lab experience preferred.

Required Credentials: - Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or radiologic technologist program or graduate of an applied science program.

Preferred Credentials: - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a health science field preferred.

Special Requests: - Failed fit tests due to facial hair and inability to shave automatically disqualify clinicians from proceeding.

Unit Details: - Assists with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement. - Circulatory support devices include IABP and Impella. - Assists with vascular access, sheath removal, hemostatic closure devices, and radial access banding. - Uses hemodynamic monitoring, digital cine technologies, and Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS).

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required. - Weekend required as needed. - Holiday required, 1 summer and 1 winter. - On-call is required, 7 shifts minimum, 10 max.

Certifications:

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
