Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality, patient-centered ultrasound services across our Georgia care settings. In this role, you will perform complex diagnostic sonography exams, ensure consistent imaging standards, and serve as a clinical resource for technologists. You’ll coordinate workflow, support scheduling, and help maintain equipment reliability. Partnering with radiologists, physicians, and nurses, you’ll contribute to accurate diagnoses and excellent patient experiences while mentoring staff and supporting continuous learning in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
