QC Technician – Huntersville, NC

QC Technician Requirements & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a machine shop
• HS Diploma or Equilvalent
• Strong experience reading blueprints, specifications, and tolerances
• Confidence using and reading calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pins, and other measuring tools
• Good math skills and close attention to detail
• Experience working in an ISO environment and participating in internal audits
• Ability to document results clearly and work independently

QC Technician Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience operating a CMM; PC-DMIS programming is a plus.
• Experience with vision inspection systems, including InSpec
• Familiarity with first article inspections, PPAPs, NCRs, corrective actions, and calibration programs
• Experience inspecting precision-machined components

QC Technician Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished components against specifications
• Perform and document inspections using a variety of precision measuring tools
• Conduct inspections on the shop floor and assist production with in-process checks
• Use CMM and vision equipment to verify parts
• Support internal audits, calibration, nonconformance reports, and corrective actions
• Prepare inspection results and quality reports, and promptly communicate concerns to the Quality Manager

Schedule: First shift, Monday–Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm
