Shipping Coordinator

The Warehouse Shipping Coordinator supports RTI’s growing supply chain operations by helping ensure shipments are accurate, documentation is complete, inventory activities are supported, and materials move efficiently through the warehouse to and from our 40+ depots. This role reflects our All In talent brand through hands-on teamwork, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through that helps keep operations running smoothly.

Schedule: Onsite required: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Location: Onsite in the warehouse at 2250 Pilot Knob Road, Mendota Heights, MN 55120

Compensation: $24.00 per hour plus a 10% bonus opportunity

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides administrative support to the warehouse staff such as data entry tasks, completing shipping labels, and other computer tasks.
• Create Bill of Ladings, assemble shipping documentation, and contact Freight Carrier as needed.
• Ensures picking and shipping accuracy.
• “Hands on” involvement in all aspects of the distribution operations including small package, LTL, TL, returns, receiving, etc. 
• Coordinates the flow of Pick Orders, processing and packaging as required for material to be shipped to our depots.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Assists with physical inventory discrepancy resolution and performs cycle counting as required.
• Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.
• Ensures shipment is labeled and packaged according to RTI specifications.
• Operates forklift or other power-driven equipment to load or move materials.  Ensures forklift maintenance is up to date.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, workstation and shipping supply areas neat and orderly in compliance with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Ensures that RTI is complying with all federally regulated requirements, including OSHA and HACCP.
• Ability to work closely with internal and external customers to solve problems and answer questions.
• Will cross-train in Warehouse Receiving Clerk responsibilities and provides coverage as needed to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience: 1 - 2 years of warehouse experience; including shipping and receiving.
• Experience safely operating a forklift and willingness to obtain a Forklift Certification through the company.
• Proven ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including timely follow-up and consistent follow-through with internal and external customers.

• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess situations, identify solutions, and make sound decisions in a warehouse distribution environment.
