Charge MRI Technologist - (3 days per Week) – Day Shift

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist (Day Shift) at Barnes Jewish Hospital ( BJH) Center for Advanced Medicine (St. Louis, MO)

Position Details:

• Day Shift: Monday, Thursday, Friday (6am – 7:30pm)
• No Call or Weekends!
• 3 days a week
• RT(R), MR or equivalent
• ASRT

Requirements:

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR
• ARRT
• 2 years’ experience

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as MRI,CT, IVR, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catherization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.. Assists staff technologist in prioritizing and problem solving patient care or imaging issues, and serves as a resource person. Delegates tasks to ensure proper daily operations. Assumes responsibilities of supervisor in their absence. Assists in the development and training of students and/or new employees. Provides continuing mentorship to adv. mod tech, adv. mod senior tech, and Adv. Mod CI.
