Labor & Employment Senior Associate

An established litigation practice in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with 5–8 years of labor and employment defense experience to join its trial-focused team. This role offers significant case responsibility, client interaction, and opportunities to handle high-exposure employment disputes from inception through resolution.

Senior Associate Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 10–20 employment litigation matters independently
• Develop case strategies and assess complaints filed in state and federal court
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and other substantive filings
• Conduct and defend depositions, including party and witness examinations
• Prepare cases for mediation and trial, including pre-trial filings
• Provide regular case updates and strategic guidance to clients

Senior Associate Requirements:

• 5–8 years of labor and employment defense litigation experience
• Active admission to the California Bar
• Extensive experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Confident oral advocacy and courtroom presence
• Ability to manage multiple matters and prioritize effectively
