Shift Differential: Additional $2.00/hour
The Job
We're looking for a QC Inspector to support receiving, in-process, and final inspections in our aerospace manufacturing operation. You'll verify parts meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements while helping keep production moving on schedule.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform receiving, in-process, outsourcing, and final inspections
- Verify part counts, serial numbers, certifications, and customer requirements
- Review travelers, routing instructions, and production documentation
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Identify, document, and help resolve nonconformances
- Support production teams with quality-related questions and issues
- Complete inspection records, certifications, and quality documentation
- Validate outside processing documentation and certifications
- Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts
- Help drive quality, process consistency, and on-time delivery
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of quality inspection experience
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Good computer, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
