POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is critical in fabricating and assembling structural components using MIG welding techniques, ensuring precision, durability, and compliance with engineering specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Perform advanced welding techniques, including multi-process and positional welding (vertical, overhead)
- Lead fabrication projects and coordinate workflow among welders
- Conduct precision inspections and ensure compliance with strict tolerances
- Mentor and train junior welders, ensuring skill development and safety awareness
- Document weld quality, production metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as a subject matter expert for welding standards and certifications
- All other duties assigned.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, Operational Framework
REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Familiarity with structural welding codes and standards (AWS D1.1 or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and workplace safety practices.
- AWS certification is a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or welding certification preferred.
- 6+ years of MIG welding experience, preferably in a structural or heavy fabrication setting.
