The Night Shift Operator is responsible for loading and unloading raw materials and finished products in a safe, compliant, and timely manner to meet production, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role supports railcar, bulk truck, package loading, and warehouse activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, transfer, sample, and handle raw materials and finished products using established procedures and regulatory requirements for railcars, bulk trucks, storage tanks, and related equipment.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and monitor equipment and transfer systems; maintain equipment readiness and promptly report mechanical or operational issues to supervision.
• Support site logistics activities, including railcar movement, forklift operation, package loading, and material handling, while following all safe operating practices.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time, and work closely with production, laboratory, and other site personnel to ensure efficient operations.
• Participate in safety programs, equipment inspections, training, compliance audits, incident investigations, Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs) as required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas through 5S practices and support waste minimization and environmental compliance initiatives, including RCRA requirements.
• Perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 55 pounds and extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs, while carrying out other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED required. Proficient in math, written and spoken English 
• Technical training preferred

The expected compensation range for this position is between $43,600.00 and $63,943.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
