Helicopter Shop Foreman - Los Angeles, CA

This is an exciting supervisory opportunity in the aviation industry! In addition to overseeing all aspects of aircraft maintenance and ensuring compliance with the company standards and all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements, this role will provide leadership and supervise staff on a daily basis.

Helicopter Shop Foreman Preferred Background and Skills:

• Experience with Sikorsky S-76, Airbus AS350 (B2 and B3), and/or Leonardo AW109 (at least ONE of these is a MUST)

Helicopter Shop Foreman Responsibilities:

• Work with and support the Director of Maintenance with maintenance assignments.
• Ensure all appropriate documentation is complete and up to date
• Read and interpret manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Ensure availability of materials, anticipating requirements and reordering

Helicopter Shop Foreman Requirements and Qualifications:

• Current, valid FAA A&P License with no violations
• Possess and own basic hand tools
• High attention to detail and thrives in a team environment
• Must be able to lift 70lbs. and work in a variety of elements
• Legally eligible to work in the US and pass FAA regulated drug and alcohol tests as well as a background check
