Production Planning Manager Benefits & Compensation

• Base salary range of $70,000–$90,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications

Production Planning Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years of production planning and scheduling experience in manufacturing
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally
• Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in team development and performance management
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries
• Epicor Manufacturing ERP proficiency

Production Planning Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Background in Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with ISO or other quality management system standards

Production Planning Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules that align with business goals and customer demands
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless processes
• Partner with customers to meet on-time delivery expectations
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and optimize resource use
• Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend process improvements
• Design and mature production planning tools and processes
• Ensure safety and quality compliance throughout the production lifecycle
• Prepare and present production metrics and reports for senior management
