Facility: Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays
Department/Specialty: Emergency Department
Schedule: Night shift | Full-time 36 hours (3 - 12 hour shifts) - 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Rotating weekends, with 7 day per week availability

How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse, delivering safe, high-quality nursing care aligned with clinical protocols and patient-centered care standards.
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans, ensuring accurate clinical documentation and timely updates within Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems.
- Assess patient conditions and communicate changes effectively with the interdisciplinary team to support timely interventions and improved patient outcomes.
- Coordinate care and support discharge planning with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe transitions, effective care coordination, and continuity of patient care.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
