We provide compassionate, personalized, evidence-based care that restores hope to the people we serve. Our values are rooted in C.A.R.E. — Compassion, Acceptance, Respect, and Empowerment . We're a small but rapidly growing practice where every team member's contribution matters and professional growth is nurtured.

The role

We're seeking a compassionate, skilled Mental Health Therapist or Clinical Social Worker to join our team. You'll provide therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in a hybrid model — a minimum of 2–3 days per week in our Valrico office, with telehealth flexibility for the remainder of your schedule.

  • Full-time: up to 40 hours per week
  • Part-time: up to 20 hours per week

What you'll do

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders per the DSM-5-TR (under qualified supervision, as applicable for registered interns)
  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers to deliver coordinated, integrative care
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in our EHR
  • Participate in team meetings, clinical consultation, and program development

What you'll need

Required:

  • Active Florida license or registered intern status as one of the following:
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) / Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern (RCSWI)
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Registered interns: a current qualified supervisor (supervision is not provided by the practice)
  • Ability to work in person at our Valrico office a minimum of 2–3 days per week
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to culturally sensitive, inclusive, and ethical practice

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of clinical experience (supervised experience accepted for registered interns)
  • Telehealth experience
  • Current credentialing with Florida insurance panels

You'd thrive here if…

  • You believe therapy should feel human, not transactional
  • You want a voice in how a growing practice takes shape
  • You value autonomy in your clinical work and collaboration when it counts
  • You're energized by working across ages and presentations, from kids to adults

Compensation & benefits

  • $45,000–$65,000/year , commensurate with experience and licensure (W-2)
  • Flexible hybrid schedule (in-office + telehealth)
  • Paid time off per company policy after the 90-day introductory period
  • Paid major national holidays
  • Health insurance stipend/reimbursement assistance after 90 days
  • Professional liability insurance coverage
  • Credentialing assistance for insurance panels
  • Annual continuing-education (CEU) allowance
  • Mentorship and advancement opportunities as the practice grows
