Full job description

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and logistics, is seeking a Receiving Associate to join their team. As a Receiving Associate, you will be part of the Receiving Department supporting inventory management and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and strong organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Receiving Associate

Location: Leeds, AL

Pay Range: $18.94 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Conduct physical inventory and cycle count activities to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
  • Count, verify, and reconcile material quantities in designated locations.
  • Operate motorized material-handling equipment safely, including forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles (as authorized and trained).
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and basic technical documents.
  • Gather, organize, and maintain project-related data using Microsoft Excel, creating labels and updating spreadsheets for inventory accuracy.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to accurately count and verify inventory.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and spreadsheet management.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints, or schematics.
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment safely and follow safety procedures.
